Perfect! Triple check is best....
This is so fascinating to watch. 🇬🇧
This video: Rich people try to justify shoes being expensive so they can keep selling them to rich people. Come on, attaching the leather to the base does not take two days. He just did 5% of it in 15 seconds.

Bone marrow may be.
As a poor person, I find the price to be beyond absurd, even with the beautiful materials and craftsmanship.
There's something special and unique about having something crafted specifically for you; great video!
Bespoke shoes aren't expensive. William Lennon boot company from the U.K. sells bespoke shoes for $200. As to the question presented in this video: bespoke shoes can be expensive for the same reason Supreme or Nike clothes can be expensive. Profiteering from manufacturers.
Just sold my bespoke docs to Salvation Army some skin head finna get ripped off.
Why spending so much money????
Go you buy a nice pair of shoes ready made just make sure to get those ones with a very soft finish leather and trust me after some time those shoes will be naturally adjust with your feet shape and forms.
shoemaking is such a beautiful skill to have. im 17 years old and studying shoemaking. its really nice that i (together with others) can keep the trade alive.
But how much it cost?
Captivity the generals ";
Job duty selected chose to to many positivity words:;
You can take the customer's measurement using a mold, then sell him that mold, with which the shoe will be made for a lifetime
He want be richest
Pro❤❤❤
Poor manufacturing performance and lack of optimatization is the main reason why these shoes ar so expensive.
These shoes are exquisite. They mastered their art and the material looks sturdy
3:03 Wow, I never really thought about it that way.
And at the end of the day, they are still horribly uncomfortable!
The woman's commentary is really awful in diction..she eats up.her last words and falls flat in her pitch and tone...so irritating
I’m learning how to make these🎉
Such brands of cars, clothes, shoes , etc are to feed the *human ego* of superiority....they come with zero value...they are just another pair of shoes.... marketing and human stupidity makes them superior 😅
Visit Dharavi in Mumbai. Bespoke is just what we see in Dharavi Leather Industry.
I love when great skills are rewarded ❤
A hahahahahahaha,what a bs..!
How many animals died in order to make shoes for a famous person?!!
I wonder why brands don't just do bespoke with machines. Measure the customer feet, make a last through molded plastic, and then make shoes based on that. It would tremendously cut down the cost but offer a true to size, bespoke feel.
Simon go back😅
Back then, this was the only way to make shoes. Nowadays, (wealthy) people needs comfortable customized high end shoes which can only be made by these shoemakers. I think their business will be just fine.
They have Paul Newman’s last. I want to cry.😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
Why doesn't the craftsman make a last that includes an impression of the arch etc?
It’s because they’re “ Bespoke” that’s why. I love seeing people craft things , I hope we never lose this type of artist to machines
Brilliant - Luved the passion and dedication especially from Simon. Such a wonderful profession - as your amazing work will be worn, maybe, every day by clients who will walk in comfort, style and the assurance they’ll “last” a lifetime 👏
I studied footwear design at the London College of Fashion, Cordwainers Footwear pathway, and the processes that go into making a basic court shoe are indeed numerous (51) as well as the cost of quality materials. Independent footwear designers rarely make a sustainable living from their work, often having second jobs just to be able to keep doing what they do. For that reason, a bespoke shoe at that cost, is worth it's valuation.
I like this video cuz she said, "Simon says"
No shoes worth it more than $300. After that you only paying for the name.
You should open up a school and train people from many countries to help us with what your doing,,I think everyone needs that even with cheaper material shoes
My father worked for a shoemaker for many years before becoming a mechanic. He made my first pair of shoes, he also made all my mums shoes and all his own shoes. Dad said when he was 18 years old before he got his first shoes. So the joke about having to walk 10 miles to school barefoot was real. Recently I have decided to go back to basics, spent three months slowly rebuilding muscle strength and starting to venture outside walking around barefoot. Now so hate the constriction of modern shoes I need to wear because of work. Wish I had spent the time learning this skill of making shoes from him. Way too old to make a career of it, at my age, but would be a great hobby
Wow, I never heard of that shoes.
FDR, a man who cannot walk, had bespoke shoes? 🤦
I respect the craftsmanship, but I feel this will be replaced by 3d scanning…
i wanted to do this but in my country it's impossible.
Bunch of crap! Everyone's foot changes from month to month, hot months, cold months, and you may wear thin sox, thick sox, etc. So, making custom shoes is all BS and marketing period. Not to mention after you buy them, they will stretch - all shoes do - even if you pay $6,500 for them!
what a beautiful piece of art. but sadly i cant afford that kind of shoe's 😂😂😂
BESPOKE SHOES means CUSTOM SHOES. BESPOKE is a British word. Trust the Brits to confuse everyone with their archaic words.
well we know you and I aren't going to be buying a pair of these!
3:06 is that stingray leather? It looks too fine; can anyone ID?
This should be PG rated. Shoe Porn at its finest.
